The Bangalore International School’s Elementary Section comprises of students from multi-faceted and multi-cultural backgrounds.

We facilitate an atmosphere and ambience that celebrates these differences and backgrounds in a warm and nurturing environment.

We believe that how children are treated and in turn how they treat others is of paramount importance to making them into good human beings and responsible citizens.

The diversity and qualifications of our teaching faculty, the innate curiosity and eagerness of our students, and the help and support of the community are factors that have contributed to the continuing success of Bangalore International School for over 40 years.

Our committed and hugely talented faculty work as a cohesive team to accomplish the goals and objectives of our school. To this end, we focus not only on pure academic objectives but also on your child’s personality and emotional development.

Our vision statement- A caring, connected community is the cornerstone of our academic faculty and is what guides our day-to-day activities and endeavors.

Curriculum Explained

In ES, we follow the Cambridge Primary Checkpoint Curriculum. Grade 1 to Grade 5 target Stage 2- Stage 6. The objectives detail what the learner should know or what they should be able to do in each year of primary education.

We follow the Cambridge Curriculum from PP to Grade 12.

However, to meet the demands of 21st-century skills, teachers develop the curriculum for each grade they teach and revise it annually. Each Department considers the requirements of IBDP, offered in Grade 11& Grade 12, while making the curriculum documents.
